Demand Media, Inc., a content generation company, said on January 12, 2011 it would set a stock price of between $14-$16 per share in its IPO scheduled for January 25. They hope to raise up to $1.25bn worth of funds with the offering.
The company uses an army of writers to churn out articles for its flagship site, eHow, as well as a number of other sites, including USA Today and Livestrong. They are also one of the leading content generators on YouTube, uploading thousands of videos per week.
